Brescia, 1995. Lives and works in Barcelona.

Fase, it’s a pseudonym of my personality. I’m Alessandro, a self taught and multidisciplinary artist born in a village in the north Italia’s countryside, now based in Barcelona. 

My works are instinctive, most of the time automatic drawings while thinking about a concept, everyday episodes or simply about life ; the process is what I enjoy the most.

I express myself through painting, sculpting and tattooing.

With a graphic imprint and an abstract and surreal touch of fantasy I play a lot with shapes and colors, like a puzzle game, in this process everything evolves and nothing is canceled.

The most important things for me are freedom and sincerity, towards yourself and others. Being in tune with your emotions and feeling free to express them in the most genuine way possible, is a big part of my work.

I can also define what I do as a mix between the calm of the countryside and the chaos of the city. I always try to find an equilibrium in the medium of this in my life.

Inspirations are everywhere and you, as an artist, are in the middle of this process, between what you receive and what you share.
